Suffolk County Transit On-Demand lets you book rides straight from your phone. Get picked up in minutes and access the Southampton LIRR, East Hampton LIRR, the Route 92 bus, Sag Harbor, East Hampton Village, Montauk, Springs, Amagansett, and much more without needing a car!

There are two ways to ride.

Option 1:

• Create an account. Download the Suffolk Transit On-Demand app from the App Store or Google Play store and follow the simple signup steps.
  

  
• Book a ride. Enter your pickup and drop-off addresses and choose the ride option that works for you.
• Meet your driver. Check the app to find out exactly where to meet the vehicle, which may be a short walk from the address you gave us.

Option 2:

• If you don't have a smart phone, you may also book a ride by calling (631) 818-2982.

Riders can pay with:

• A credit or debit card added to your account in the app. You'll also be able to buy discounted bundled ride credit in the "Ride Credit" section of the app should you wish to.
• Purchase Ride Credit vouchers (with cash) at the Hampton Jitney offices (395 County Rd 39A, Southampton, NY 11968).

Service Operates Daily: 6:00am – 8:00pm, 365 days a year including holidays

Fares are identical to the rest of the SCT system (Click here for fare information). However, to transfer from SCT Fixed Route to On-Demand and vice versa, please refer to the following:

• From SCT Fixed Route to On-Demand:
  • Request a transfer ticket on the fixed route bus by paying the transfer fee ($0.25)
  • When nearing the transfer location, book a ride on Suffolk On-Demand using the transfer point as the origin.
    • Suffolk Transit On-Demand is a demand-responsive service, so you should book your ride 10 to 20 minutes before you’re ready to go.
  • If the location is eligible for a transfer, the app will display a free ride.
  • Once on board, show the transfer ticket from the fixed route to the On-Demand driver.
• From On-Demand to SCT Fixed Route:
  • Book the On-Demand ride as usual. When boarding the fixed route, please have the receipt in the app or an email showing the ride confirmation.
  • Pay the transfer fee with exact change on the fixed route and receive a paper transfer ticket
