SCT Connect WiFi now available on-board fixed route buses! WiFi is now available on-board SCT buses! Just search for the "SCT Connect" network on your smartphone or wireless device, agree to the terms and then access the internet on the go!

SCAT Paratransit

New SCAT Paratransit Mobile app available! The new SCAT Paratransit mobile app is available for eligible riders to use! Just search for "SCAT Paratransit" in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Currently, the SCAT Paratransit mobile app can be used to manage existing reservations, track your SCAT Paratransit bus, and pay your fare. Making reservations in the new mobile app are expected to be available soon, so stay tuned. Reminder: SCAT Paratransit is a reservation-based service for riders who have established their eligibility; see here for more information on SCAT: https://sctbus.org/Paratransit.
15 The Bus to the Beach returns on Monday, June 16th! Are you ready for the summer?! Let SCT help you celebrate the return of the summer season by getting you to Robert Moses State Park. Beginning Monday June 16th, SCT's Route 15 bus will begin operating hourly, 7 days a week, from 8am to 6pm, between the Babylon LIRR station and Robert Moses State Park, making stops along Montauk Highway and at Captree State Park along the way. Route 15 can also be your connection to biking the Ocean Parkway Coastal Greenway from its trailhead at Captree State Park; all buses are equipped with bike racks, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Babylon LIRR Bus Stops Return, Monday 6/9

Effective Monday June 9th, Suffolk County Transit bus service will return to the bus stops on the south side of the Babylon LIRR station island, west of the LIRR waiting room. Temporary stops served during Babylon LIRR platform construction will no longer be served. Please see attached notice for further details. See the notice here for more information.

Alive After 5 Delays and Detours, Thurs. 6/26

Due to Alive After 5 on Thursday June 26th, Routes 2, 6, 51, 53, 55, 66, 77, and 77Y will likely experience delays, and Routes 55, 66, 77, and 77Y will use alternate routes in Patchogue. These delays and detours will occur between 3:30pm and 9pm. Service to the Patchogue LIRR timed transfer stop will be maintained on all routes during this period.

52A Run Around the Lake Detour, Sat. 6/28 Due to the Run Around the Lake on Saturday June 28th, Route 52A may experience delays and will use an alternate route in Ronkonkoma between 5am and 12pm.
7 Northport VA Med. Center Stop Returns, Mon. 6/30 Due to the completion of construction at the Northport VA Medical Center, the Route 7 and HART H40 bus stop will return to the front (north) entrance of the hospital building beginning Monday June 30th.
